ORQUESTA DE LA LUZ

Yesterday,I went to free live of ORQUESTA DE LA LUZ with friend at Roppongi.ORQUESTA DE LA LU means Orchestra of the Light. They are Japanese salsa band that began performing and recording in 1990. The band sings in Spanish, and is led by vocalist Nora, who returned to traditional salsa after the band broke up in the mid-1990s. It became widely famous in Latin America, particularly in Puerto RicoMexicoPerĂº and other Caribbean area countries.
This was first time for me that I enjoyed performance of salsa band. It was fantastic! I was excited! I drank a only one glass of Mojito and got drunk! Because I can't drink quite a lot. Plus,We danced so hard that we felt giddy! But I was HAPPY,and laughed loudly. If you were interested in salsa music, check their site,Please.

Lost In Translation

Wow.....I haven't written this blog for long time! I should hold out more and more.
In japan,August 13th to 15th are called "OBON".OBON is time that the departed come to today for meeting their family. So,Japanese visit their family's graves for telling to the dead about recent conditions. And They make "OUMASAN".It means horse and it is made with eggplant. It is imitated horse by inserting toothpick to eggplant like a horse's leg. The tradition tells the departed rides OUMASAN to coming back to today.

BY the way,I saw the movie "Lost In Translation" today.
I like this movie. I think Sofia Coppola succeeded filming atmosphere of Tokyo. Especially Shibuya. I laughed when I saw the scene about electric signboard of drag store at Shibuya I often go to. Because  I don' t think it is cool!
If I were a girl Scarlett Johansson played, I will be gloomy like a her. Because most japanese don't talk to her in English and she doesn't have friends in japan. So, I think it is good fortune the girl meets Bob. Great Bill Murray!
